How I Learned to Love Myself.....

 Make This Year YOUR year!!

 About Us

For the last sixteen years an eating disorder has been a large part of my life. After countless hours of therapy and two hospitalizations for anorexia and bulimia, I still had not found a way to truly come to terms with my disorder. Some people are able to say they completely recovered, I believe that I have learned to live a healthy lifestyle. I believe that you never "recover", but yet you learn how to deal with emotions without getting food involved.

Even to this day, during stressful times I need to constantly remind myself that I have to stay on my path of healthy living. I found in my experience, many things that were able to help me and not let me fall back into the vicious cycle of self-abuse. Finding the place in your mind where you can love yourself and live healthy is something that you deserve. I would like to help you reach that path, but remember the journey is what you make it!

               Our Mission!

Our mission is to help all of those who are suffering from an eating disorder and are looking for a support network. We understand that at times it feels like there is no one that really understands. We are here to listen and to help you get back on the track of healthy living!

            Who are you?

Sometimes we all need to stop, look in the mirror and dig deep to find ourselves. Not the person who has the problem, but the person who was there before it started. We all have our bad days but we all have had our good days to remember as well. Getting through your journey is going to be like riding a horse. Some days are going to be smooth and carefree, other days you may get bucked off and hit the dirt face first. The important lesson it to get up, dust yourself off and get back in the saddle. Keep working at it. Just because you have a bad food day does not mean you give up. It means that tomorrow you wipe the slate clean and start over. Work up to having several good days in a row. Start by establishing a healthy routine. Eventually the days will turn to months and then years of healthy living. If you are strong enough to live with it, you are strong enough to conquer it.
